DVD-THE REAL MAS DOMINICA CARNIVAL 2006 puts you in the mood of carnival, the most spontaneous carnival in the Caribbean. The Jump up begins with J'Ouvert (jouvay) on Carnival Monday morning and proceeds to the Parade of colorful costumed bands. Among the most picturesque masquerade bands are Carnival Corner band,the lovely Go Girls Showtime band, Mercury's Tribes of the Caribbean, The Pirates of the Caribbean,The Sensay and Sooswell Soowee bands among others.The Carnival Queen contestants led by Miss Dominica 2006, Nakita Bruno and Calypso King Dice open the Parade.
Carnival Tuesday begins with a street parade of masked Sensay costume bands in the village of Salisbury followed by the parade of T-shirt bands in Roseau, along with DJ music and the music bands of Triple Kay,Swingin Stars,WCK,Antigua's Red Hot Flames,lapeau kabweet bands and others.
